PRAIRIE HIGHLANDS HOMES ASSOCIATION
POOL RULES AND REGULATIONS
POOL HOURS
Sunday – Thursday 10am to 9pm
Friday –Saturday 8am to 10pm. 
 
This is a community pool operated through fees allocated equally to every household in this neighborhood.  The following guidelines are intended to assure that all eligible residents enjoy the pool in a safe and courteous environment.
 
FOR THE SAFETY OF YOU AND YOUR FAMILY
There no lifeguards on duty, so swim at your own risk.
Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by someone 16 years or older at all times.
Parents or guardians will be responsible and liable for the actions of all children under their supervision.
No head first diving into the pool.Ignoring this rule can cause serious injury.
Only battery operated electrical devices are allowed near the pool to prevent electrocution.
Running, loud or rough play in the pool area is not permitted.
Exit the pool and seek cover from approaching storms.Please wait at least 30 minutes from the last visible lightning before returning to the pool.
 
FOR THE SAFETY AND ENJOYMENT OF OTHERS
Abusive or profane language will not be tolerated
Intoxicated persons will not be tolerated
Smoking (including e-cigarettes) and other tobacco products are not permitted within the fenced area of the pool.
Pets, glass containers, bikes, tricycles, skateboards are not permitted inside the pool area.
Avoid swimming if you have an open cut, cold, or other infectious disease.
Clean up any mess that you may have caused.Trash containers, brooms and dust pans are available for your use.Residents who fail to cleanup will be charged a $25 cleanup fee.
Music must be kept at a volume that does not disturb others at the pool or surrounding homes.
The use of large floatations devices (in excess of 36 inches) are prohibited in the pool.
The pool door must be closed after entering or leaving the pool.Do not prop the door open.
All non-family guests must be accompanied by a Prairie Highlands resident.Any group or party with 6 or more guests must be approved in advance by the Pool Committee.
 
FOR THE CONTINUED SAFE AND COST EFFECTIVE OPERATION OF THE POOL
Eating or drinking is not permitted within 5 feet of the pool.
Swimsuits only, street clothes of any kind are not permitted in the water
Swim diapers (not disposable diapers) must be worn by all children not bathroom trained.Families will be assessed a $100 pool cleanup fee if the pool must be sanitized after an accident.
Please treat our restroom facilities, pool furniture, and equipment like your own.Homeowners will be held responsible for any damage caused by family members or their guests.
 
VIOLATIONS OF THESE RULES MAY RESULT IN SUSPENSION OF THE HOMEOWNER’S POOL PRIVILEGES .
 
ENFORCEMENT will be performed by Homes Association Solutions and the Board of Directors.  Violations should be reported immediately to 913-825-0001. Loitering during non-operational hours and/or acts of vandalism should be reported to the Olathe Police Department.  Emergency dial 911, all others dial
