Hello Neighbors,

 

First of all, Happy New Year!!  I hope all of you enjoyed the "Light Up Prairie Highlands" challenge that we held this year and I hope all of you had a tremdnous Holiday Season!!

 

With my first note of 2022, I wanted to make you aware of a United Way Volunteer Program.  

 

Kelly Skeels| Project Manager, AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP Volunteers Serving Johnson, Jackson and Wyandotte Counties contacted me regarding this volunteer program.  This program is looking for individuals 55 and older who would like to give some of their time to the Greater Kansas City area.  Kelly is also interested in discovering individuals who are already volunteer in different ways.  

 

I have asked HAS to post the informational Fact Sheet about the program on our HOA Web Site.  It will be posted under the "Volunteering" Tab by Monday evening.  If you have questions please contact me.  I will get you in contact with the correct individual.

 

Moving on to more general HOA business, I imagine many of you are wondering about when we will hold our Annual Meeting.  As you know, many of the people on the Board, including myself, are seniors and we travel.  None of us really like the cold!!  As a result, it looks like the first opportunity to get full Board representation for the meeting will not be possible until April.  The Board will select a specific date and get that information out to you shortly.  If you have any questions, please contact me.

 

Finally, by now all of you should have received your Prairie Highlands HOA Dues statement.  The dues should be paid by February 15th.  If you have questions about the due date or payment, please contact Home Association Solutions at 913-825-0001.
