Prairie Highlands Updates & A "Save the Date" Note
Posted on Nov 23rd, 2020

Hello Neighbors,

First of all, I'd like to wish all of you a Happy Thanksgiving!!  Even in this time of coronavirus, I know all of us have many people and times in our lives to be thankful for!!  I hope each of you have a great day!!

I'm also sure many of you have put up and turned on your holiday lights!!  As Margaret and I walk thru the neighborhood it's wonderful to see how many of you are "Lighting up Prairie Highlands"  Every block looks tremendous!!  Keep it going and doing forget about the Food Drive for Harvesters!!  The drop-off homes will have donation boxes on the porches starting December 1st going thru the 14th.  Here are those locations:

Kats Reece - 14985 S. Roxburghe Street
Jeannie Rolf - 14707 S. St. Andrews Ave.
Bill Garrett - 14445 S. Inverness Street
Katie Bogard - 14820 S. Glen Eyrie Street
Steve Holcomb - 26062 West 150th Street

Last but certainly not least, we are planning on having our Annual HOA Meeting in January.  Save the Date for January 24, 2021 at 4PM.  We're going to try something new with this meeting as we go VIRTUAL!!  Home Association Solutions has told us they have the ability to host a virtual meeting for our HOA so, we're going to move into the 21st Century via technology.  We will be getting information out to you with plenty of time to ask questions and for support.

It's going to be an important meeting as there are multiple items we need to discuss.  Here's some of the meeting agenda:

  • Elect a Board for 2021.
  • Discuss how we spend the HOA's dollars
  • New Sign on the west side of St. Andrews
  • Cut down trees and clean up the entrance at Turmberry
  • Install new shade materials (called a sail) at the PH Pool with the eventual discontinuance of the pergola.
We will be sending out a survey to ask your opinions on these changes and what order they need to be done in, in each of your opinions.

So finally, once again, I hope everyone has a tremendous Thanksgiving!!

Take care!!

Bill Garrett, Board President
