Pool Information & a Few Reminders & a Special Notice
Posted on Aug 25th, 2020

Hello Neighbors,

Over the past couple of weeks we have had problems with the poll lights that light up the water.  When people are swimming at night, without the lights, it makes it very difficult to see them in the water.  The problem is apparently in the electrical system that controls the lighting, the breaker switch keeps flipping off.  To repair the issue would require draining the pool in order to work on the lighting.  Since we're so close to the end of the pool season (the pool will close on September 8th), the Board has decided the best thing to do is to close down the pool in the evening by 8:30.  That accomplishes two safety items, first it allows for swimmers to be seen in the daylight and second, we don't have to be concerned about an electrical charge in the water.  We will keep the breaker switch off so the pool lights will not come on at all.  I apologize for any inconvenience this might cause but we feel this is the most cost conservative and safest action we can take.

I also wanted to mention a few reminders to our neighbors.  First we've noted a number of cars parking on the streets overnight.  With the number of kids playing in the area and the number of kids who will be heading back to school shortly, these parked cars are a safety concern for those kids.  Please abide by the rules of the neighborhood and only park in your driveways overnight.  Second, a number of trash cans are being left out.  Please put these back into your garages.  According to the bylaws of our neighborhood, trash receptacles and yard waste should only be placed out the day prior to trash pick-up.  Since there are a good number of raccoons in the neighborhood, I saw three at the golf course this morning, I know they would like nothing better than to find a trash receptacle to turn over!!

I also wanted to make people aware of a special mask sale going on in our neighborhood.  With COVID-19, I like to make people aware of these sales that I know are focused around helping people get through this time.  Here is the information about the Mask Sale:
