Hello Neighbors,

 

We are now within 45 days of political elections.  I hope all of you are planning to vote.  It's perhaps our greatest legacy of democratic government.  One of the symbols of coming elections are political signs.  According to Kansas Statute 58-3820, political signs can be placed in yards up to 45 days in advance of an election.  I've started to see a number of these signs show up in our neighborhood and I think it is great to see peoples commandments to their political candidates.

 

Unfortunately, I'm also hearing that signs are being stolen out of yards.  I would ask our residents to watch out for these instances of vandalism.  Whether we agree or disagree with a candidate, let's settle the matter with our votes.
